First Six Weeks Sept. 28, 2012 Title: Cat Blog This is a Calico Cat. I have one myself. This Calico cat has patches of orange, white, and black fur. Calico cats are usually short haired, part Manx, or part Persian. Calico's are considered as good luck to people. My Calico Cat is named Nala. We have clipped her claws so she won't scratch. But if you ask her if she loves you she will bite your finger. It's true! But it feels like she is nibbling on your finger because she has small teeth. Most of the Calico cats are females. Most people can recognize them because of the color of their fur. They have really pretty colors! My cat is kinda sassy and wild! Some can be stubborn. My cat acts like a baby and always wants attention. When I'm in bed at night you can hear her meowing really loud all night because shes lonely. Calico's have high pitched meows, which is similar to my cat. But of course, not all are the same way. This is my Black Cat, Midnight. Some are loved and some are feared. But, why? Some are feared because they were thought to be with the Witches. But today, they do not fear them. She can be very scared of the other cats though because she's always in her room so she's not used to them.
My cat is big and has all black fur. Some black cats will have white patches on them, but my cat is different. Midnight is very friendly and you can tell she is! When we used to live in the town house, we kept her outside all the time. She was used to it and also to our neighbors! Sometimes, neighbors will come home from work, or school, and they would see my cat and say '' Oh she's so cute!'', and they would rub her belly. She didn't seem to mind at all! When I'm sad or mad she would come and comfort me. That's what I just love about cats!
This is my Orange Cat, Mikey. He is our only male cat in our house. He has the biggest whiskers out of all of our cats. His tail is really big and fluffy and his hair is really curly on his stomach. But he is one of our sick cats in the family but, that's what makes him special. His teeth are really big and he bites hard! Mikey is one of our biggest cats but, believe it or not he is the youngest! We named him Mikey because he has a letter 'M' on his forehead and because, we got him from my Uncle Micheal. Mikey is really close friends with our cat Nala and treats her like his little sister and always leads her to the right way. He is the sweet cat in the family. :) This is a Siamese Cat. Mine is named Zena. She is the oldest cat in our family. Some people would be scared of her and say she looks creepy but she is one of my favorite cats and I love her very much! Zena can't see very well and if you notice in the picture, one eye is bigger than the other. But my cat is just different.
She jumps off the bed very quickly if you lay near her and move too much. She only bites when you pet her a certain way. Zena is still very sweet and if you put your head near hers she will bonk your head! But not hard. Its a way of being nice. Zena purrs really loud too when you pet her for a long time! Siamese may be the oldest breeds but they are still so unique in every way!
